An encouragement

Greetings Disciples in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, our soon coming King. I want to speak to you in brief on the global climate, and by the Grace of God the Father, provide you with a few words of encouragement. In relation to the current forecast amidst this coronavirus, and the observed trends of the global economy spiraling for the worst depression ever recorded in history. It is fair to say that these are perilous times, experts have also concluded that these are uncertain times, and that the days ahead will be testing for the average citizen. As a disciple of God however, I want to proclaim that these are more importantly encouraging and I also dare say, exciting times. There are so many points to which this bold statement may be justified, through the Living Word of God, and I hope that I will be provided another opportunity, God’s willing to write to you to further explain, but I digress. It is written in the book of Ecclesiastes 1:9…..there is no new thing under the sun. This is true, as there has been pandemic(s) before, so this too shall pass. When the Lord struck Egypt with plagues, The Lord declared that not even a dog would growl at the Israelites (Exodus11). The Lord’s people were fully protected and forever will be. Psalm 37: 25 reads, “I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread”. Verse 28 states, further, “For the Lord loves justice, he will not forsake his faithful ones. The righteous shall be kept safe forever, but the Children of the wicked shall be cut off”. There is a recurring theme here, that the Holy and the righteous have a divine reassurance from God, that they will be protected and provided for forever. Whatever it may be that is on your mind, or that you are facing, or is set to face, rest assured that God was aware of it from the beginning of time, and he made ready the provisions. You only need to ask. Take a walk through Matthew 7:7-11.
Closing this short chapter, I further encourage you to treasure the words of the Lord from Isaiah 41:8-10, Psalm 1:1-3, and to remember the precious words of Jesus, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. John 14:27.
